As the Manager, Demand Forecasting and Planning supporting our online grocery business, you will leverage your knowledge and experience in Forecasting, demand planning, analytics and scenario planning to build a forecast / growth model to achieve demand accuracy at store and customer level.

Responsibilities include :

  • Building and developing the forecast model’s framework and logic at store and customer level
  • Establishing the attribution framework for any growth activities and working in partnership with Acquisition and Migration teams to determine how and what to include in the model
  • Identifying missing information and data gaps to build a strong data foundation for the forecast model
  • Developing and implementing a consistent and capable integrated business planning process covering short term and long-
  • term demand plan with Acquisition and Migration teams

  • Leading and facilitating the demand planning and LE review meetings
  • Understanding and challenging key assumptions made in the demand plans
  • Reviewing and ensuring alignment on the opportunities and risks that are being used to drive the gap closing activities with the related stakeholders
  • Ensuring reporting is accurate and timely
  • Developing business / demand / LE scenarios and support leadership in making decision
  • Working alongside Data Science to build the growth model

  • You have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a highly analytical role within a high growth organization
  • Capable of taking responsibility for an initiative and working with minimal direction; self-starter even when assignments are vague or undefined.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data
  • You can easily build relationships and have been part of large, cross functional teams that are working to solve complex problems
  • You are a self-starter with solid analytic, negotiating and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Forecasting, demand planning, analytics and scenario planning
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in leading sales and operating plans involving multiple stakeholders
  • Strong analytical background with a sound understanding of statistics
  • Excellent organizational skills, high degree of planning and attention to detail
  • Process driven; documents and maintain policies, procedures and key measures
  • Advanced user of Excel, SQL, R, Tableau and other analytical tools
  • Knowledge / experience in annual budgeting and setting periodic LE
  • Creative in finding new solutions / designing innovative methods, systems, and processes
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile development practices.

    Sr. Analyst, Digital Insights (migration)

    Mandate :

    Mine first party data and research for actionable insights that contribute to customer growth

    Responsibilities :

  • Have a deep understanding of how consumers interact with our digital properties within the Digital, Mobile and Advertising space
  • Identify, analyze and resolve churn drivers and drive revenue
  • Report on the effectiveness of customer migration programs
  • Complete regular ad-hoc analyses by translating raw data into useable information and insights
  • Constantly and proactively provide new ideas to enhance positive migration efforts
  • Be strategically and financially minded in managing programs and initiatives towards optimal retention investment
  • Alongside DG define investment levels at the customer segment / cohort level
  • Become a trusted advisor. Your insights and findings are leveraged to make and support the important decisions budget is spent
  • Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting
  • Own and refine the customer CLV model
  • Complete regular competitive analysis
  • Skillset :

  • Exceptional analytical skills and proven ability to independently deal with relevant tools (Excel, SQL, Python and others)
  • Experience using analytics platforms : Omniture, Google Analytics, etc
  • Able to deliver the so-what to stakeholders through the combination of facts, intuition, and telling the story through data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter even when assignments are vague or undefined.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data
  • Comfortable in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • Experience using a dashboarding tool such as Tableau, etc.
