What You’ll Do :

  • Aggressively identify market opportunities by conducting market research supported by customer research
  • Conduct competitive analysis and develop a strong understanding of stakeholders to drive product decisions
  • Develop, communicate and execute a multi-year product strategy that goes far beyond today’s technology portfolio that is responsive to industry needs and surpasses competitors
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to drive bookings and revenue growth by ensuring solutions are responsive to clients’ needs and launched, deployed and supported successfully
  • Manage the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution
  • Act as product evangelist both internally and externally
  • Balance long-term investments in enabling technology and vision with short-term product requirements; including when to build vs.
  • buy vs partner, or change from one technology to another

  • Identify, analyze and manage technical debt with your product
  • Measure and manage product quality
  • Analyze key performance metrics to measure effectiveness and drive improvements
  • Deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders of all levels of an organization
  • Facilitate objective Win / Loss Analysis of deals
  • Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product
  • Analyze and keep abreast of trends in technology and your market
  • Must Have Requirements :

  • Minimum five (5) years work experience in data & analytics product management
  • Prior experience managing a P&L
  • Bachelors / Masters in Computer Science, Business or Engineering
  • Effective presentation ability to influencers, senior executives, and industry audiences
  • Experienced in Software Development Life Cycle methodology (SDLC)
  • Experience in waterfall, agile and hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within North America
  • Preferred Experience :

  • Experience working in a customer-facing role within the transit technology industry
  • Practical experience with Pragmatic Marketing and its application
  • Practical experience with PMP and its application
  • Web, Mobile and SaaS product management experience
  • Worker Type : Regular
