YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the Vehicles and Electric Propulsion Development team, you will be the control systems and instrumentation expert for test benches for engines, batteries and vehicles.
You will also act as a reference in this area. Your responsibilities will include :
Developing complex control functions for D2T Morphee and Test Manager for test benches for engines, roller test benches, and batteries
Supervising the integration of multiple mechanical, computer and electronic components for test benches for engines, including engine dynamometers, roller dynamometers and test benches for batteries
Implementing best operating practices for load cells and staying abreast of any developments in the world’s automotive industry
Ensuring the integrity of test benches and overseeing the overall safety of test benches for engines and batteries, including equipment-building interactions
Advising the calibration, engine components development and certification teams on developing and conducting tests
You must be willing to work evening and weekend shifts and to travel abroad for up to four weeks at a time.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent
8 to 10 years of experience in managing load cells or battery test benches
Expert knowledge of Morphee, Test Manager and INCA
Knowledge of AVL equipment and environmental chamber battery testing methods
Mandatory bilingualism, written and spoken (English / French)
Ability to understand and integrate electric, electronic, software and mechanical principles
Deep knowledge of electric and electronic circuits and of controller programming
Experience in instrumentation, data acquisition and signal conditioning
Manual and motor dexterity to perform assemblies and install instrumentation
A passion for working in a fast-paced environment
