For this full-time remote position, you will work closely with both clients and our internal teams to successfully deploy our product suite to our clients’ specifications.
This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in Canada and the US. Preference shall be given to those candidates that are able to travel to Toronto quarterly.
What your impact will be :
Participate in discovery sessions with our clients to determine the As-Is and To-Be states of their systems.
Develop and maintain key end-to-end knowledge documents throughout the project.
Be the primary technician to configure of our software suite to meet our clients’ requirements through the utilization of the application’s graphical user interface (GUI), with the assistance of MS SQL, and other tools
Work in conjunction with our Conversion team to create various mapping documents.
Assist in capturing customers’ requirements and implementing configurable interfaces through our AIM tool.
Assist clients with end-to-end system testing and troubleshooting.
Help further refine our implementation processes by providing feedback and new ideas.
What we are looking for :
Must have a minimum of 5 years of IT implementation related experience.
Must have a strong understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Must be able to use SQL to perform complex queries.
Must have a rudimentary understanding of PowerShell (or equivalent scripting languages).
The position requires some travel. The candidate must have a valid passport and a driver’s license and be willing / able to travel for work in Canada and USA.
Must have strong problem-solving skills.
Strong time management and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
Excellent customer service and oral / written communication skills.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new methodologies and systems.
Must be able to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
Must be able to work as a part of a team as well as individually.
What would make you stand out :
Experience with Microsoft SQL Reporting
Experience or understanding of .Net programming languages
Experience or understanding of HTML, and other web-based languages
Experience or understanding of network troubleshooting and methodologies
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, or related discipline
Experience with local government utility billing applications or other financial applications
