MISSION AND OBJECTIVES
USD C&P PCS manages the filtering system and relatedprocesses as they relate to payments (disbursements and receipts) generatedfrom the BNPP branch network where there is a US counterparty or a US Dollarsettlement required.
Transactions processed in Montran’s payment system( Montran ) are screened for potential sanctions violations using EnhancedFiltering System Next Generation (EFS-NX) prior to disbursement.
In order tofilter the messages EFS-NX uses filtering algorithms that have thresholds setupusing user-defined parameters to screen messages for potential matches tosanctions list entries.
EFS-NX is currently in production and conductsscreening for different types of messages. EFS-NX is a standalone applicationand the Model as a whole screens approximately 60,000 transactions per day fromits different interfaces.
USD C&P PCS domain is looking to fill a datastewardship / model management position within its Data Governance and ModelManagement function.
The position will have the responsibility for implementingthe domain’s overall data governance program managing data quality, datalineage, data integrity, and supporting sound data analytics.
This rolerequires focus on data strategy, execution and support for projects.
Makes well-thought-out decisions on complex data issues andestablishes the data stewardship and strategy direction for the domain.
Effectively communicates to individuals at various levels of the technical andbusiness communities. Along with the stewardship responsibilities the role alsoinvolves the management of the OFAC filtering model, with key focus on themanagement of the model documentation MDAMS , model validation, and modelperformance in accordance with USD C&P PCS operations and RISK IRCguidelines.
