Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results

  • Lead change agent in the implementation of Lean across global operations and the business including establishment of standards, metrics, employee training, kaizen workouts, value stream management and after-action reviews
  • Lead multiple Value Stream Mapping projects, including : Current State Value Stream MappingData Planning / Collection / AnalyticsAnalysis of Waste via efficient execution of lean tools for optimal performance (ie.
  • Value Add Efficiency and Speed)Future State Value Stream MappingProject Management of the Future State Implementation Plan

  • Quickly scale improvements made in VSM projects on a global scale
  • Develop a Global LEAN Scorecard that tracks improvements, especially as it pertains to speed vs stated goals
  • Conduct internal and external consulting engagements as it pertains to Lean improvements
  • Conduct necessary training, coaching and mentoring as it pertains to Lean development for key stakeholders
  • Support the functional teams in developing and executing Lean plans to improve the customer experience and operational metrics
  • Continuously evaluate and operationalize Lean best practices
  • Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements

    This position requires the following knowledge and skills :

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience leading teams in a lean transformation(s) in a complex, globally diverse organization
  • Lean Expert who can teach and coach
  • Deep Value Stream Mapping Expertise
  • High Level Lean Certifications Required (Lean Sensei, Black Belt)
  • Other complimentary CI Certifications such as Six Sigma, PMP, Change Management, etc
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent, MBA preferred
  • Packaging experience a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively apply MS Excel, MS Visio, Simulation and other analysis tools for real-world problem-solving
  • Exceptional understanding of Lean principles

  • Strong project management skills
  • Must be flexible, innovative and comfortable in setting own priorities
  • Polished presentation, business acumen and facilitation skills
  • Experience with high volume operations
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Ability to operate in a Virtual world
