Specific accountabilities

The Senior Director, Digital Solutions, manages a multidisciplinary team of IT professionals and is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of IT applications for his or her clients.

This includes project support, evolution and delivery. He or she is therefore an important contact person for the organization’s IT needs.

The incumbent is an effective communicator with strategic business acumen and thorough understanding of the Company’s business sectors.

He or she is knowledgeable about current IT best practices and able to improve the team’s procedures. He or she must build strong relationships with various clients.


  • Manage all aspects of the relationships with the business units and departments under his or her remit;
  • Oversee the process for handling client requests;
  • Contribute to the delivery of IT projects to clients;
  • Ensure support and updates for IT applications used by clients;
  • Contribute to developing the business plan and participate in the IT planning process;
  • Maximize staff productivity by setting performance objectives related to the business plan, tracking progress and measuring achievement;
  • Monitor designated IT applications.
  • Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology with 10 to 12 years of relevant experience or any other combination of relevant experience and / or education;
  • Familiarity with investment, asset management or real estate management organizations, an asset;
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a multidisciplinary team;
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and be tactful in dealing with sensitive situations;
  • Work experience in both strategic and operational management;
  • Excellent social and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent people and project management skills;
  • Experience in a Microsoft-based technological environment;
  • Ability to articulate a vision for the designated field of expertise and knowledge of the business sector;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to adapt messages to a given audience (e.g., clients, IT professionals);
  • Integrity, accountability, self-discipline, effective time and organizational skills, curiosity;
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and English.
