Role Description

Reporting to the Director, Executive Compensation & Global Mobility, this position is responsible for supporting market analysis, job evaluations, and salary & bonus policy administration, ensuring alignment of executive compensation both internally and to the external market.

This role is also responsible for the administration and communication of various executive compensation programs.

Accountabilities :

  • Completes annual market survey analysis by participating in external market surveys, partnering with HR and leaders on job matching, and conducting analysis of results for the executive population
  • Compiles, organizes and analyzes market position and internal peer data on executive roles, and presents information / findings to HR leaders and / or senior executives
  • Researches trend topics, including related legal, tax and regulatory developments, as assigned
  • Drafts presentations, communications, policies and programs related to executive compensation
  • Conducts executive job evaluation reviews
  • Administers and communicates with participants on a number of executive compensation programs including perquisites, LTI awards and other programs
  • Manages equity compensation plans for a global executive population via Solium Shareworks, including new grant calculations, set up of new profiles, award payout calculations and acting as the main point of contact for equity compensation participants
  • Supports the preparation and accuracy of annual regulatory filings, including proxy circulars
  • Maintains global compensation guidelines and other arrangements relating to the movement of executives from one location to another
  • Coordinates with other functions (i.e. Finance, Tax, Legal, etc.) and external contacts (i.e. consultants and survey companies) as needed
  • Seeks opportunities to improve process efficiencies and communication effectiveness to add value to compensation programs
  • Conducts ad-hoc analysis and participates in other initiatives as required in support of the HR strategies and priorities
  • Qualifications and Competencies :

  • Post-secondary education in HR, Business or related field
  • Previous experience in compensation data review and analysis
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities while managing deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • High level of customer service and great organizational skills
  • Proven teamwork and collaboration
