Status : Temporary Full-time (Up to 1 year)
In compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations, the principle responsibilities of the Facility Management Services Coordinator include : assisting in financial and office administration functions within the Plant Operations and Maintenance Department;
overseeing the operation of stores; organizing and controlling functions of computerized programs in maintenance operations, construction, financial management and office / warehouse operations;
overseeing work of and providing guidance to Departmental Secretary; submitting ideas on continuous quality improvement;
performing cross-functional and / or other duties consistent with the job classification, as assigned or requested (e.g. Help Desk).
QUALIFICATIONS : Education
At minimum, completion of a community college diploma program or recognized equivalent required.
Specialty in inventory control or equivalent in education and experience.
Three (3) to four(4) years practical and related experience required.
Experience with CMMS Management systems (iMaint, JD Edwards, etc.) would be an asset.
Must have solid command of Microsoft office suite.
Must have excellent time management skills.
Bookkeeping / accounting Knowledge as it relates to the purchasing of inventory and report writing.
Knowledge of office procedures and policies.
Ability to preform duties in a professional and courteous manner and produce high quality work while meeting deadlines.
Exercise initiative and good judgement and ability to multi-task.
Compliance with confidentiality requirements.
Effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of applicable legislative, UHN and / or departmental policies.
Client service oriented, with the ability to effectively work with diversity and appreciate that people with different opinions, backgrounds and characteristics bring richness to the challenge or situation at hand.
