Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the incumbent will provide support to the Human Resources team in activities related to labour relations.

They would advise managers and employees on various elements related to human resources.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advise and assist managers in the interpretation and application of the collective agreement, policies and regulations;
  • Provide coaching and ongoing training for managers;
  • Inform employees and managers about the application of the collective agreement, the procedures to be followed when opening or abolishing positions;
  • Support managers in the various investigations or problematic files of their team;
  • Manage grievances, conduct investigations, discuss issues related to the interpretation of the collective agreement with the union;
  • Conduct various investigations of grievances, disciplinary measures, complaints, etc.

  • Preparations of files referred to grievance arbitration and other administrative tribunals;
  • Participate in meetings of various labor relations committees (eg CIM);
  • Participate in the preparation of collective bargaining

  • Actively collaborate on employee relations initiatives;
  • PROFILE OF SKILLS

  • Bachelor of industrial Relations;
  • 3 years of experience as a labour relations generalist in a manufacturing industry or other relevant industry;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Team Spirit;

  • Versatility and flexibility in working hours;
  • Demonstrates resourcefulness, self-reliance, organization, dynamism, sense of urgency and ability to manage priorities.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Daytime schedule;
