About Our Technical Field Advisor Opportunity

Our Technical Field Advisor manages our current network of Approved Auto Repair Service (AARS) facilities and programs in Manitoba as well as our Automotive Member Request Tracking System which is an internal database we use to track and manage member feedback and damage disputes.

As our Technical Field Advisor, you will also work closely with other departments such as Government and Community Relations, Marketing, and Membership where you will share your mechanical expertise with the public and build relationships within our communities.

Highlight of Responsibilities :

  • Research and drive potential new AARS facilities, ensuring they meet minimum CAA National Standards
  • Assist in preparation of AARS promotions to add value to our members, facilities, and CAA Manitoba through our AARS newsletters, inspections, radio and newspaper advertising, and CAA’s magazine Going Places
  • Perform on-scene investigations and determine legitimacy of any incoming damage claims then mediate damage disputes between members, tow contractors, AARS facilities, and CAA
  • Manage the member experience when handling damage complaints ensuring service excellence
  • Identify damage trends and training opportunities
  • Travel Manitoba and visit AARS facilities

  • Post-secondary education in Licensed Auto Technician or related discipline considered an asset
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a related position
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must be willing to travel within Manitoba
