This position will be supporting implementation of Asset Management at OPG. The individual will work and interface with a multi-
disciplinary team of professionals in Operation, Maintenance, Work Control, all Engineering departments, and Regulatory Affair.
The individual should have a broad working knowledge and expertise in Long Term Operation, Life extensions, Life Cycle Management, Ageing Management and Asset Investment strategies.
The individual participates in the day to day activities of the Asset Management project team reviewing the project deliverables, WBS, Project plan, co-
ordination with Project’s control, Projects & Modifications, Outage planning and work management.
Provide Direct Output Support to Nuclear engineering Asset management team. Provide expert technical direction in these specialized areas of Life Cycle Management, Plant Condition Assessment, Obsolescence, Ageing Management and Equipment Reliability.
Gather and compare investment options, asset end of life projection and prepare business case summaries.
Qualification / Experiences Necessary :
Engineering degree with a minimum of 6 years experience, components engineering background is preferred.
This position requires familiarity with Pickering and Darlington station systems, plant equipment, good understanding of fundamental Principles of Equipment Reliability and work management system to assist with implementation of Asset Management at OPG Nuclear.
Prior OPG experience, experience in Operation, work management, outage management and control, and projects control will be considered an asset.
