  • Monitoring, assessing and coordinating delivery of resident care following Extendicare policies.
  • Working with families, staff contract or agency staff and consultants to meet resident needs
  • Work cooperatively with other departments to meet resident needs.
  • Delegation of tasks to appropriate staff
  • Orientating and training new staff
  • Managing resident information as per policies of Extendicare

  • Registration in the province of Ontario
  • 1 year clinical experience in LTC
  • Supervisory skills and asset
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and ability to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to plan, implement, evaluate new ideas, resident care plans.
  • Knowledge and / or experience in working with the geriatric population especially those with cognitive impairments.
