Job Description

The Key Account Manager serves as the primary Corporate contact with TransGas customers in order to optimize corporate revenues by developing a strategic understanding of customer business activities and drivers to ensure TransGas service offerings reflect current customer requirements and ensure customer satisfaction with the maintenance of successful customer relationships.

This includes managing customer issues, solidifying internal partnerships and ensuring obligations are met, as well as participating in the development of TransGas strategic plans, the development and delivery of marketing activities and the development of TransGas business policy.

Customer Service

  • Serves as primary contact for customers ensuring that the high level of customer satisfaction with TransGas customer service is maintained. This includes :
  • Customer Contract Management

  • Identify and provide advice to customers as to optimal business services for their natural gas transportation portfolio.
  • Manage customer transportation and storage contracts to ensure that timely TransGas services are in place which meet customer requirements.
  • Resolve customer specific issues.
  • System Maintenance

  • Work with the TransGas team regarding customer gas balances on the TransGas system ensuring that the information in the customer specific secure application is accurate and timely, resulting in customer confidence with TransGas data integrity.
  • Customer Service Development

  • Identify and develop opportunities to enhance customer knowledge for both the Customer Services Department as well as other TransGas personnel who interact with our customers.
  • Provide leadership throughout the Corporation in the delivery of exceptional customer service resulting in high service levels and a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Education & Experience :

  • Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Engineering.
  • Five (5) years of experience managing customer relationships within a natural gas environment.
  • Alternative Education / Experience :

  • An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
  • Additional Information

  • Travel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters is required.
