Reporting to the Area Operations Manager, the Temporary Project Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a night project for the ready-mix operations in Edmonton.
The project will run from May 2020 until Sept 30, 2020. What you’ll get to do :
Supervise plant personnel and drivers with a strong emphasis on safe operations
Coordinate work site delivery, project inspections and resolution of customer issues
Coordinate and assist in dispatching an efficient delivery and logistics process.
Provide leadership for environmental compliance, corporate compliance and labour relations
Directs operation on production volumes, scheduling, quality standards,
Arranges timely availability of resources required including manpower, materials and equipment
Promotes safe work habits and provides safe work conditions for all operations
Promotes and develops customer relationships
Who we are looking for :
Three to five years’ experience in unionized environments including; discipline, grievances, and contract negotiations.
Five to eight years of operations experience and technical knowledge of concrete and aggregate products combined with a general knowledge of the construction industry
Proficient with Microsoft Office software and well-developed oral and written communication skills including technical presentation skills
Strong leadership and teambuilding skills
Technical knowledge of operations including products, plants and mobile equipment
Demonstrated knowledge of safety programs and policies and environmental regulations
Experience with dispatching and logistics
