About Our Candidate :

We are looking for an innovative and passionate Senior Product Manager who shares our vision of bringing the power of the Salesforce.

com platform to KAR Global and will manage several key areas within the Salesforce Portfolio. We are undergoing a massive digital transformation and this position will play a key role in leading that change and will own big areas of very high strategic importance that are pivotal to our business growth.

As our Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for understanding multilateral business needs, working closely with internal and external partners to define product roadmaps that leverage technology and data to delight our users.

This requires a creative thinker and problem solver with a proven ability to develop product strategies and translate them into successful executions.

You will spend your time working through product discovery, driving releases, supporting product launches, and continuously optimizing each product throughout its life.

What You Will Be Doing :

  • Own a strategic roadmap to drive value for KAR Global while maintaining a robust backlog, breaking initiative into attainable milestones with MVP deliverables.
  • Have a speed wins attitude : adapt and accelerate creative solutions that demonstrate value quickly in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Work closely with business leaders as well as other organizational SMEs to develop and document requirements, and specifications for Salesforce applications
  • Lead cross-functional teams in designing, developing and releasing solutions that meet core objectives in order to drive key results for diverse business units.
  • Hold a high bar for quality : ensure that every release is useful, reliable, and properly tested.
  • Define metrics to assess success and failure of product features and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Monitor and measure the success of launched features to maintain a tight learning loop that continually informs the product development process.
  • Develop and maintain the role of a trusted advisor with cross-functional stakeholders by creating clarity across business units on Salesforce initiatives.
  • This will include leading discussions, engaging in debate, driving an opinionated group to reach a conclusions.

    What You Need to Be Successful :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a Technical discipline
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience with a focus in IT Product; Automotive experience is a plus
  • Salesforce.com Experience is preferred; Certified Administrator or higher a plus
  • Experience in cross-functional roles and product development with distributed teams
  • Strong time management skills : Must be proactive, organized, and focused to appropriately prioritize competing initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to deep dive products, businesses, and competitive landscapes
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and help develop business cases with product owners
  • Experience with customer development and validating products through user feedback.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak the language of technology and business teams.
  • Comfortable presenting to senior leadership with strong attention to detail, and the ability to see and explain the big picture .
  • Technical background, with experience in software development methodologies like SAFe, Agile, Kanban, and Lean
  • May require travel
