    As part of Manufacturing, you’ll use your skills, our systems and a wide array of raw materials to help create the delicious finished products our consumers love.

    While taking ownership in your area of work, you’ll also ensure the safety of yourself and your colleagues while producing our top-quality products reliably and efficiently within our integrated supply chain.

    The successful applicant will be responsible for the complete operation and quality of the Line, including but not limited to disassembling and reassembling all moveable parts and guards for regular and major line cleaning, changeovers, lubrication and minor repairs to equipment, machine adjustments such as timing, tracking etc.

    Responsibilities :

  • Work in a manner that will not affect their personal safety or the safety of their co-work / colleagues. All safety rules and regulations must be complied with including but not limited to all safety compliance training.
  • Work in a manner that is compliant with all quality policies as outlined. All quality rules and regulations must be complied with including but not limited to all quality compliance training.
  • Follow all outlined GMP and HACCP requirements. The successful applicant must comply with all Food Safety rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrate the ability / capability but not limited to, the following tasks : successful operation of the their respective equipment, demonstrate the capability to think logically to effectively troubleshoot and to resolve issues in a timely manner, demonstrate the capability / ability to clean and sanitize their equipment as per quality guidelines, demonstrate the ability / capability to successfully changeover their equipment as per established SOP’s, demonstrate the capability / ability to effectively set-up their equipment as per established SOP’s.
  • Effectively troubleshoot equipment by performing root cause analysis, review and comparison of established centerlines, perform adjustments based on logical review of the issue, perform minor repairs based on logical review of the issue.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively disassemble and reassemble their respective equipment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively lubricate their respective equipment.
  • Work in a rotation, where possible, and relieve other colleagues as required.
  • Understanding that working in a food manufacturing facility requires everyone to participate in ensuring the facility is kept at a high level of cleanliness and requires each person to maintain a high level of personal hygiene.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

  • Need to have a good working knowledge of both written and verbal English; as some documentation and report writing is required;
  • Will need basic math skills for computer entries;
  • Must by physically fit as some lifting is involved;
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to maintain good attendance and the ability to work in a team environment;
  • Computer skills will be required, including ability to learn new software (SAP).
  • Participation in the IL6S program will be required.
