Assisting the Finance team in the overall client campaign process and agency timesheet reporting. The incumbent will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be involved from the initial client set up and transition into the Agency and continue to service the client from a finance perspective by supporting the Finance and Client Service team.
Key Accountabilities :
Complete client set up in DDS (Donovan Data Systems, MediaOcean)
Assist with the set-up of billing requirements in MediaOcean
Coordinate client billing by locking the client, pulling BCR for the Operations Manager and Client Service team (quickly scan to identify irregularities, variances)
Review unbilled media and provide comments
Review Aura to determine completeness of timesheets and report to Operations Manager any delinquencies (one person will take care of Investment team and the other the premium services)
Preparing initial investigation related to client receivables past 90 days and provide any necessary back up to Operations Manager to facilitate conversation with the client
Lead the Production processes for Premium Services, Ad serving and monthly retainers and ensure that jobs are properly documented and balanced
Assist in Client Media Audits and support where required
Liaise and develop strong working relationship with Shared Finance Services team to ensure that the Agency and Clients have the highest level of customer service
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley policies and procedures
Skills and Behaviour :
Good interpersonal and presentation skills
Solid understanding of accounting concepts, forecasting, variance analysis
Actively seeks to implement new and unique ideas and is able to cope with change
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask while working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Exceptional organizational skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
Education and Experience :
College diploma or University degree in Finance or Accounting
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
Experience in an office environment
Working knowledge of DDS (MediaOcean) is an asset
Experience in a Media Agency is an asset
