Position Overview :
Reporting to the General Manager, Pricing and Analytics COE, you will play a key role in supporting the strategic goals of Finning and will work closely with Cat, Global and local executive leadership to pioneer pricing and revenue strategies aimed at driving tangible gains to the bottom line.
You will co-create global pricing and revenue strategy for all products including Parts, Service, New and Used Equipment and Rental and is responsible for developing system, process and human resources that support the strategy into implementation.
You will also be responsible for establishing the domain analytics and partnering with different functions within the business to provide data driven decisions.
You will be responsible for revolutionizing the strategic pricing frameworks globally and will participate actively in identifying best practices and gaining alignment across business functions.
Accountabilities include providing thought leadership and guidance to the business through advancements in pricing science and process to achieve tangible improvements in Gross Profit.
You will evangelize the business value of data driven decision making and analytics that underpin a cohesive pricing and revenue strategy.

Job Description : Job Summary
Provide strategic leadership for pricing across all three regions for RUN (Rental Used and New Equipment), and Product Support across Rental, Mining, Core Industries and Power Systems
Develop the overall strategy, goals and benchmarks for all regions subject to prescriptive initiatives
Work with each functional area and each of the regions to develop global best practices and standardized frameworks that support Dealer Growth and Profitability
Manage senior stakeholder’s expectations, prioritizing and triaging internal projects and future pricing initiatives required to align with global goals
Represent and clearly articulate complex strategies across all levels of the organization (evangelize)
Map roles and responsibilities, systems, and processes related to pricing to identify opportunities and lay the foundation for future state requirements
Partner internally to build the pricing and revenue strategy roadmap to use advanced analytics to identify and leverage opportunities and support the needs of marketing, product development, sales and other functions
Provide the long term vision and path to a Global Pricing Strategy
Responsible for setting clear accountabilities, expectations and challenging yet attainable SMART goals for each functional area, providing regular and ongoing performance feedback, and for supporting growth and development opportunities where applicable
Education & Experience :
Minimum 10-15 years of experience in an analytics and operations environment with preference in a Pricing and / or Revenue Management role or Business Strategy function
Bachelors’ degree in Business, Analytics, the Sciences or equivalent experience in a related field. MBA preferred
In-depth systems and process knowledge, quantitative analytical expertise and strong business acumen to identify and operationalize strategic opportunities
Demonstrated leadership at senior levels
Experience operating in a large, complex and changing environment
