  • Develop, analyze, and communicate Treasury’s financial and balance sheet results while providing business support and strategic advice to the SVP Finance and business partners with an emphasis on Finance strategies and plans;
  • Responsible to ensure accurate and comprehensive financial modeling and forecasting analysis, completed in a timely manner;
  • Responsible for providing analytical support requiring a degree of judgment to understand the main cash flow components by continuously interacting with stakeholders;
  • Develop, lead, and participate in process improvement initiatives ;
  • Take initiative and provide quality insight and analysis;
  • Contribute to the global cash management strategy and ensure strong cash conversion ;
  • Act as a lead business partner to Operations, Major Projects, Financial Planning & Analysis, Legal Accounting, Systems, Corporate FP&A & other departments ;
  • Support the consolidation, analysis and assessment of the free cash flow by monitoring the actual financial performance against the annual budget, periodic forecasts and estimates;
  • Drive corrective action on deviations from agreed plan, forecast, estimate;
  • Ensure efficiency, accuracy and integrity of information when managing the forecasting models;
  • Significantly streamline, standardize and simplify all current processes and directly communicate; with business partners in order to obtain most accurate information;
  • Lead efforts to improve Treasury financial planning and analysis tools and processes.
  • Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years’ experience as a business unit accountant for a medium to large company;
  • CPA title mandatory;
  • Experience working with various business partners
  • Outstanding communication skills in English (oral and in writing mandatory) and French;
  • Strong knowledge of Excel is mandatory, Oracle / Hyperion a strong asset;
  • Ability to sustain a high level of pressure in a fast paced environment;
  • Adaptable, autonomous with a positive attitude.
