Position Summary :

The SCCM Systems & Intune Administrator is responsible for the management of the company’s entire SCCM system. The scope of responsibilities includes imaging, software deployment, security updates and producing SCCM reports.

The SCCM Systems Administrator must ensure that all SCCM services are functional, and plan and manage architecture expansion and work around the complex constraints of PCI and / or SOX compliance as required.

As a technical point of contact in the team, the SCCM Systems & Intune Administrator is also responsible for providing assistance and support to other analysts in the group and providing training from time to time.

The SCCM Systems & Intune Administrator must be able to take on the role of project manager as required and provide a turn-key service.

They must respect and apply company standards and industry best practices, have extensive knowledge of networking principles and networking topology and be familiar with company software.

Lastly, the SCCM Systems & Intune Administrator is responsible for support offered to users (software and IT equipment used throughout the company).

Key Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for the company's SCCM environment and managing the associated servers
  • Provides 3rd-level assistance to other analysts and users on all technical aspects (software, materials, deployment strategy, etc.)
  • Analyzes, drafts and plans large-scale projects assigned to the team
  • Analyzes, plans, coordinates and executes migrations of systems and / or platforms when upgrading to a new operating system
  • Skilled in automation strategies, Active Directory, GPO, workstation virtualization and security
  • Understands, changes and develops complex Powershell or VBScript scripts, recognizes which situations call for scripting (appropriate solution or requirement), and analyzes and validates scripts submitted for approval
  • Shows creativity in coming up with ingenious and unconventional solutions to complex problems
  • Shares knowledge with colleagues
  • Communicates with various IT and business unit teams on support actions and coordinates the support process
  • Maintains the company IT infrastructure’s standardization and integrity by analyzing upgrades and corrective measures required by manufacturers of software and materials
  • Solves issues, and configures and upgrades company workstations, laptops, printers and peripherals
  • Analyzes and solves technical issues rapidly and effectively
  • Provides support required by the specificity of certain applications and the deployment of new systems configurations
  • Manages the certification of new software and materials
  • Evaluates the technical makeup of replacement models
  • Evaluates the functionalities and compatibility of new software and provides recommendations
  • Contributes to drafting corporate standards and provides recommendations to management
  • Qualifications and Skills :

  • College diploma (CEGEP / DEC) or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of experience as a SCCM system administrator, experience managing several Management Points and several hundred clients
  • Extensive knowledge of the automation process (scripting, deployment strategies, packaging, GPO, virtualization, Office 365, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune is required
  • Extensive knowledge of networking topology
  • Maintain a good working relationship with clients and know how to handle criticism and occasional frustration
  • Stressful working environment : heavy workload and deadlines are often tight
  • Bilingual (French and English) is a significant asset
  • Minimum of 10 years in user technical support - Level 3
