National Service Centre (NSC) is a strategic area within Financial Services Distribution. The NSC is responsible for managing, servicing and providing financial planning advice to a segment of IG Wealth Management clients nationally.
The National Service Centre currently operates out of a central location (Winnipeg and Montreal) servicing accounts nationally.
The Financial Representative will provide financial planning advice and ongoing client servicing to a segment of client accounts nationally.
They will ensure that regulatory compliance requirements are adhered to in all their activities. This position is also responsible for achieving agreed upon service levels, monitoring the client experience and managing the escalation process.
The Financial Representative will participate / oversee / execute various departmental and divisional initiatives aimed at maintaining and / or elevating the NSC mission.
Responsibilities include :
Client servicing and administration - guide client through orders and answer account inquiries on products, solutions and strategies.
Activities include updating account information, processing financial and non-financial requests, quality control, responding to service requests, follow up and adjustments.
Provide financial planning advice - assist with estate planning, debt management, insurance, mortgage, tax planning and the nominee platform.
Meet all standards of financial planning and advice and ensure regulatory guidelines are adhered to during all interactions.
Participate / responsible for targeted callout campaigns
Manage escalations - review each issue with consideration, collaboration with other business unit, initiate appropriate action to be taken to resolve the issue in a timely efficient manner.
Contribute to departmental initiatives - participate in growth and development of the NSC strategy
Four years of experience in the financial services industry.
Completion of Post-Secondary degree or equivalent in a related business discipline.
Currently holds valid Mutual Fund and Insurance License with the ability to be licensed in other provinces and completed or enrolled in the CFP
Fully bilingual in English and French.
Excellent mutual fund, mortgage and / or insurance industry background, including product knowledge, processing and compliance
Strong PC skills and practical experience with Pathway, Business Link, Excel and MS Word.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent analytic skills with keen attention to detail.
