The Opportunity

As a Sr Manager of CloudOps SRE, you will join a global team, where you’ll have the opportunity to learn, grow, and mentor other team members.

You will be actively engaged with Product Management, Product Engineering, and others across the CloudOps Delivery team.

You will bring your ideas and knowledge to continue to improve and make our cloud deployments more resilient. The CloudOps team is responsible for infrastructure life cycle and you will have ownership of the conception, design, research, development, build, maintenance and monitoring of all product delivery for EMS.

We are currently adopting Kubernetes and CI / CD pipelines to streamline our deployments and you would be coming in as the Sr Manager for the team that defining and implementing CloudOps Standards.

What It Takes

Your function will be defining SRE best practices and implementing controls and standards for the team.

You will maintain operational coverage of Environments residing on our cloud platforms, with a focus on Health and Availability.

Additionally, improving automation, scale, process improvement, metric collection, security, and visibility into non-production and production.

Leveraging various DevOps approaches which includes but not limited to CI / CD processes, working closely with development teams to ensure a manageable and secure migration of change into the production environment.

Should have experience on build and deployment process for different technology-based applications like Java, .Net, PHP, Node JS, Angular, Python etc.

Experience with at least one of CI / CD build and deployment system (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub or AzureDevOps GitHub, Maven)

You Are Great At :

4+ years’ experience managing or leading teams minimum of 2+ years in DevOps or cloud technologies

General knowledge of UNIX / Linux & Windows

Experience working on at least one cloud provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure)

Experience with scripting (Shell, Python etc.,)

Experience in Systems Architecture, in-depth knowledge on SRE, IT Operations, Cloud, Coding and Scripting experience with Java, JavaScript, python and .

NET, understanding of AI / ML.

Experience in managing medium to large, enterprise level programs leading cross functional team.

Experience in managing teams of 4-10 members.

Experience acting as Scrum Master and leading a scrum team from start to finish (build / deploy / support)

Strong understanding of cloud native and container based distributed systems like Kubernetes

Ability to collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to develop design and deliver solutions to drive infrastructure provisioning on any cloud platform using Terraform
