Job Title : Contracts Coordinator

Job Overview :

Reporting to the Contracts & Programming Manager; responsible for assisting in the co-ordination, execution and maintenance of all Warner Bros.

Discovery Television’s contracts, output agreements and administrative obligations in Canada. Also provide programming and sales support to television division.

Contracts Administration :

  • Assist in preparation of contract orders and amendments and input into Rights and Sales Management system for internal and Head Office approval.
  • Circulate all sales orders, amendments, and relevant contractual matters
  • Liaise with Warner Contracts Management and Rights Management department in Burbank on an ongoing basis regarding contractual and administration issues.
  • Create and maintain historical sales records.
  • Track contracts logs and databases.
  • Run and analyze monthly sales reports
  • Monitor research studies and industry developments.
  • On-going communication with Canadian television department staff of all sales activities.
  • Sales Administration :

  • Assist Sales Administration group with servicing
  • Work Experience :

  • Demonstrated experience working in database systems, preferably rights and sales management systems
  • Demonstrated experience with contracts and knowledge of the television distribution business
  • Education :

  • University or College diploma in a related field
  • Other Requirements :

  • Self starter, independent worker, but also a team player
  • Ability to handle fast changing priorities and multi-tasking
  • Detail-oriented and attentive to high standards of accuracy
  • Proven excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, SAP, Internet Applications)
