1.Develop and implement a Leadership Giving program (outlining measurable goals and objectives, program strategies, budget and timelines), including stewardship / cultivation strategies of annual leadership prospects, with a focus on cultivation of potential major gift prospects.
2.Conceptualize, develop and implement new leadership giving strategies (including sponsorship opportunities) into an annual giving program intended to attract leadership donor support from new corporate / business donor prospects and leverage annual giving capabilities from existing corporate / business community donors.

4.Act as a chief facilitator of all interaction with prospective leadership donors; and, in collaboration with the Annual Giving Administrator, and Director of Development to determine appropriate manager / solicitor for potential face-to-face asks (case by case).
5.Communicate with planned giving and major giving colleagues regarding prospects.
6.Develop and maintain professional relationships with local, national, and international Leadership Giving Officer professionals.
7.Ensure all programs align with Canada Revenue Agency legislation and the institutions fundraising policies and procedures.
8.Manage potential volunteer participation in Annual Giving fundraising program activities through effective recruitment, training, motivation, communication and recognition plans.
9.Manage a portfolio of 150-200 active individual donors, ensuring their progress throughout the donor cycle and ensure the creation of donor engagement strategies to ensure proper cultivation, and stewardship of donor relationship (moves management).
10.Work with the Donor Relations Officer to ensure proper stewardship and fulfillment of gift agreements, and to ensure the level of recognition meets with donor expectations.
11.Work with other fundraising professionals to collaborate on donor relationships and identify leadership donors that match with elevated levels of giving in areas particularly for major gifts.
12.Identify and coordinate unique research projects and analysis mechanisms to ensure ongoing prospect identification and effective moves management strategies
13.Contribute to ad hoc annual giving campaigns as needed. Work with individual donors and groups of donors to establish funds.
Serve on internal or external committees as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Specific Accountabilities Duties Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
1.Diploma in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2.Three years of directly related fundraising experience, preferably in a post-secondary education or an equally complex environment.
3.High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; using spreadsheets, and knowledge of donor database and its reporting applications with direct experience implementing mainstream fundraising solicitation applications including : mass direct mail, email and telemarketing, and online fundraising technology
4.Experience and capability to anticipate, strategize and respond to changing fundraising trends.
6.Ability to balance demanding workload, multitask and adjust to changing priorities
7.Proven ability to work independently, collaboratively and as a highly effective team member and to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
8.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9.Demonstrated ability to design, implement and evaluate a comprehensive program for leadership annual gifts, establishing goals and objectives that translate into strategic annual operating and work plans.
10.Demonstrated ability to analyze results and create effective business and work plans to achieve desired objectives and goals
