Senior HR Business Solution Analyst
The successful candidate will be reporting to Director, HR Optimization & Reporting and will work collaboratively leading optimization activities and enhancement of HR systems (Workday).
They will be responsible for the effective communicator of enhancements, development, and solutions of Workday functionality to stakeholders.

This position will be located at our Head Office in Markham, Ontario and will have flexibility for both remote and in-office work based on our hybrid work model.
Subject Matter Expert for all HR Information Systems (specifically Workday), and responsible for ensuring systems are optimally configured, maintained, and utilized.
Functional knowledge of the various HR disciplines and their data needs (e.g. HCM, payroll, benefits, absences, time tracking etc.
and knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and processes and work effectively with all types of highly confidential information.
Perform all regular system maintenance testing requirements for upgrades and enhancements, executing test cases against quality standard user acceptance and regression testing to maintain operational excellence.
Ensure business requirements are clearly defined, documented, communicated, implemented, and tested for all assigned projects
Remain current on Workday trends, issues and best practices through online reviews, Workday User Group meetings, contact with peers and attendance at seminars, training workshops and educational programs
Lead implementation efforts where appropriate, developing and delivering training to Human Resources staff on new functionality
Liaise between the Human Resources functional user groups and other stakeholders to help define, analyze, and validate functional business requirements, and be able to translate those requirements into effective technical solutions
Qualifications and Experience
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent work experience.
3 to 5+ years of HR system functional experience of system enhancements and implementations, preferably Workday.
1 to 2 years project experience both implementation and post go live.
Ability to interpret technical concepts, technologies, and complicated problems / solutions, and explain it in non-technical terms to all levels of the organization
Strong technical aptitude for HR systems functionality.
Able to work independently and deliver on self-directed results.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
