Are you a skilled Licensed Electrician with above average troubleshooting skills and want to work in an environment that is incredibly safety conscious?

Will you be comfortable working in partnership with the Maintenance team to document and record improvements and changes accordingly?

Do you have a minimum of 2 years working as an electrician in an industrial setting?

If you do, we want to speak with you today! Our client in Fergus is looking for a permanent certified Electrician to join their team.

They are looking a person that wants to work long term at a very successful international organization. If you have at least 2 years of experience as a licensed Electrician, we would like to hear from you!

In this role, you will be working on equipment like :

  • mixers
  • troubleshooting using Allen Bradley PLC's
  • working on a variety of motors, heaters, instrumentation and control system
  • using equipment such as scopes, meters, PLC's
  • working in conjunction with a Millwright

  • $31.76 to start + shift premium (OT after 8 hours in a day overtime and Sundays double time)
  • increase at 45 days to 32.51

  • Qualifications

    What does this electrician role require?

  • reliable transportation and the ability to work in Fergus
  • must be a certified electrician (442A or 309A)
  • knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs
  • strong understanding of AC Drive systems and confident with repairing electrical breakdowns.
  • a good safety record and code knowledge
  • lock-out trained is an asset
  • ability to multitask and handle more than one job at a time
