Position Summary : The required PM will be a senior Project / Portfolio Manager professional who will manage the "hard target" schedule of watershed events (July 21, August 1,.

  • through managing the individual contributions of multiple teams, each responsible for a piece of the puzzle, whose deliverables in turn make up the PM's master schedule and everyone's expectations (SI and Vendor).
  • The PM will need to be a resourceful professional capable of gathering the required information and the necessary resources to deliver the road map and the execution strategy.

    The required PM will need to be a strong process manager and an excellent Infrastructure SME.

    The PM will look at the existing plan and Map out a strategy for what the take over process will look like, offering both the Customer and the Vendor visibility into current state and future state, Risk mitigation and possible challenges, as well as interdependencies that could impact deliverables.

    The PM will need to be a resourceful professional capable of gathering the required information and the necessary resources to deliver the road map and the execution strategy.

    Major attention will need to be paid to assessing the interdependencies of the various groups and contributors, and how deviations will impact the delivery schedule.

    Change Management is an integral part of the process.

    Equally important will be the ability to manage upwards (Program Manager,Client), ensuring honest and substantive communication, effective feedback, scope creep if necessary, and a tactful push-

    back if the Client team is delinquent in its contributions to the delivery schedule.

    Weekly updates on wins, risks and failures (DEC) will be a major tool to ensure everyone is on the same page. This schedule is required by the Client team.

    The PM will be responsible for managing "Current State" to "Delivery" road map for the takeover by the SI, and the scope will include but not limited to :

  • Security
  • Operational Readiness
  • Business Continuity
  • Disaster Recovery
  • Back up and Restore points for Systems and Apps
  • and potentially War Room / Response process at a later stage.
