You will :

  • Act a project Leader on Revenue Control system enhancements through meetings with the Information System department (BITS) to outline time saving benefits and establishing specifications for testing and implementation
  • Manage the Revenue Control Certification process as it relates to Revenue Control processing and AR function by reviewing and testing controls results on a quarterly basis
  • Assist in the AR collections process in effort to achieve Corporate established objectives
  • Manage assigned National Tenant Program, while building a strong partnership with National Tenants
  • Provide AR and Revenue Processing support to the Revenue Coordinator for assigned Region and build on the Regional Partnership program
  • Coordinate and lead monthly AR meeting with Property staff to review AR position for the property
  • Oversee AR escalation program ensuring AR is categorized and the issue is escalated accordingly
  • Provide AR and Revenue support to the Regions for vacancies
  • Create and manage AR support program across all properties
  • Create AR consolidation report for monthly distribution
  • Manage the collections of Major Tenant accounts coordinating timely response to queries
  • Responsible to review AR, 31 days and over status, for assigned region by focusing on AR by Type and working with the respective Portfolio Coordinator to resolve issues on a timely basis
  • Prepare monthly reports for management on the status of significant outstanding accounts receivable balances
  • Manage the Bankruptcy and Litigation process by providing instructions as it relates to the proof of claim calculations in cases of filings
  • Update and create, Revenue Control Quick Reference Guides and Policies and Procedures
  • Oversee annual Sales Audit process by providing timelines to General Manager, consolidating and analyzing results and ensuring that a follow plan is in place
  • Oversee annual Recharge Rate process by establishing timelines and providing assistance where necessary
  • Create and Maintain training guidelines for new Revenue Control employees in addition to creating a refresher plan for existing Revenue Control staff
  • Provide training to new Portfolio Coordinators and Revenue Coordinators as required
  • Assist in special projects and presentation as required from Management
  • You have :

  • University degree in Finance, Business, Economics or Commerce
  • 3 to 5 years related experience in Commercial Real Estate industry
  • Good knowledge of Revenue Control procedures
  • Knowledge of the CTI system
  • Knowledge of Prism and web reports relating to AR
  • Knowledge of SSLE
  • Knowledge of Banking and EFT process
  • Knowledge of Certification policies relating to Collections and Revenue Procedures
  • Familiar with Bankruptcy, CCAA, Litigation rules
  • Understanding Tenant Lease provisions
  • Computer literate with above average knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to manage several competing priorities
  • Able to interact at all organizational levels
  • Works with minimum supervision
