What would be useful?

You have the ability to learn quickly and respond swiftly to changing business needs. You have a solid understanding of both retail and wholesale business models, including inventory and operations.

You can provide value-add analysis to support ongoing business decisions and bring forward solutions to problems while managing multiple priorities at once.

Detail oriented and organized. Service-minded. Bottom-line and margin focused.

Role Objective :

  • Take ownership of corporate financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting for organization.
  • Education :

    Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance. Accounting designation CA / CGA / CMA is preferred.

    Qualifications :

  • Bilingual (Fluent in both English and French)
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant work experience including people management
  • Strong knowledge of taxes, regulations, and payroll
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX an asset)
  • Ability to collaborate with team members across all departments to ensure clarity on direction of day-to-day deliverables
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with outside partners and possess strong negotiating skills
  • Self-motivated and confident in making sound business decisions
  • Team-oriented with a positive and constructive attitude
