We are currently seeking a Facilities Manager to join our team.
The Facilities Manager will oversee all the operation and maintenance of all Gardewine buildings through a team of maintenance technicians and approved contractors.

Key Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for leading, managing and supervising a maintenance team that includes employees, contractors, vendors, and temporary labourers.
Five years of experience working in a multiple building organization leading a team. Ideally, you have post-secondary education as a Certified Engineering Technician or related discipline.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure and manage critical and unplanned events.
Strong interpersonal skills to foster and build working relationships with business unit leaders in addition to vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
Experience using all Microsoft Office programs and other software programs is necessary. A thorough understanding of Manitoba’s Building Codes and requirements, as well as working knowledge of WHMIS and Canada Labour Code Part II.
