REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

Midland Transport is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager based out of Brampton, Ontario, supporting our Ontario region.
The Regional Sales Manager will report into the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The selected candidate will be a high energy self-starter with a strong work ethic and a Can Do attitude.
Preferred Candidates will possess the following qualifications :
Minimum of five (5) years successful sales experience preferably in the transportation / courier industry; Major Account experience an asset.
Sales management experience preferred;
Post secondary education in Sales and Marketing an asset;
Solid LTL, Truckload and Courier transportation knowledge and experience;
Highly motivated and results oriented individual;
Strong customer service skills;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Knowledge of transportation operations would be preferred.
Key Responsibilities :
Build, coach and lead Midland’s Ontario Sales Team for profitable growth;
Achieve revenue plan for LTL, TL, Courier and Brokerage;
Secure new business for the Ontario Region;
Develop solutions for successful customer growth;
Achieve required rate increases to improve revenue quality on a continuous basis.
