Recently rebranded and evolving to meet future customer needs, The Conference Board is seeking a dynamic Director, Innovation and Technology who would bring research and management expertise, strong networking capabilities, and thought leadership on Innovation policies.
Reporting to the Vice President, the new Director will provide leadership and direction to a high performing team of 8-9 staff.
Together the team develops and undertakes research and convening activities that better policy and decision-making related to areas as varied as cybersecurity, privacy, the innovation eco-system, AI, and big data.
As the ideal candidate, you bring research and management expertise, an analytical and forward-thinking mindset, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Substantive work experience in the innovation space, where you have demonstrated sound financial and people management, is a must.
The ambitious nature of our research requires that you have a sound understanding of qualitative and quantitative methods, and an ability to conceive and execute high impact applied research studies.
Bilingualism is considered an asset. This is a remote position and can be based anywhere in Canada.
