Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together

As a Senior Developer Analyst for the Ministry of Health (MOH) Health Network System (HNS) managed service, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing and maintaining various customer application services.

You will work closely with multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts across the organization to understand all the different data transactions and reporting systems, then propose solutions and strategies to deliver the agreed-upon deliverables.

The ideal candidate must have a robust and hands-on background in software development using the COBOL programming language.

The candidate should well verse with :

Design, code, test, and debug software of high complexity using COBOL

Be involved in all aspects of the agile project life cycle, from the initial kickoff through the requirements analysis, design, development, integration and implementation

Participate in Dev Ops and Tier3 technical support on a scheduled basis, with on-call responsibilities to support application issues

Investigate, troubleshoot and fix live problems based on alerts raised by the monitoring tools and issues reported by customers

Systems analysis and design, system modelling, performance modelling, integration planning and technology and component selection to ensure architectural consistency and coherence between technical and business processes

Participate in the creation of technical design documentation ( Detail Design and Architecture Blueprint documents)

Must have

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Information Science or equivalent

8+ years of professional experience in the IT industry

5+ years of experience in development using COBOL programming language

5+ years of experience in development and frameworks on an HP NonStop platform, combined with expertise in : HP COBOL85 / Native COBOL SQL MP / MX INSPECT / xINSPECT TACL SCOBOL / FUP / ENSCRIBE TAL PATHWAY / GUARDIAN OSS

Great-to-haves

Knowledge of the Healthcare Industry

Health-related system design, development and integration

Client / server experience

JAVA

ECLIPSE / BITBUCKET / GIT

SOAP / JSON / REST

POWERBUILDER
