Bring your proven leadership and planning skills to this exciting opportunity as a Project Lead . In this role you will be involved in leading the development and implementation of a regional population survey that collects local-

level data to better understand the determinants of health and wellbeing for the populations we serve. This information aims to help local governments, community organizations, and Fraser Health in developing strategies for creating health promoting environments.

You will work with stakeholders across Fraser Health to develop a project plan and ensure that the project deliverables are completed on time and budget.

Build on your education and career experience as you :

  • Establish detailed project charter, plans and objectives to outline timelines and project deliverables.
  • Execute project plan according to project methodologies, ensure successful and coordinated completion of project components, facilitate consensus with stakeholders as needed, and ensure readiness for project implementation.
  • Track project progress according to project plan, monitor and report on the status of projects and major issues / obstacles encountered.
  • Make recommendations regarding project scope changes.

  • Implement and / or contribute to the implementation of effective processes to assess project risks, identify risk mitigation strategies and monitor risk throughout the life cycle of the project.
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of project budgets within the context of operational demands and resource constraints and use best utilization methods to thoroughly monitor and adhere to allocated budgets.
  • Maintain ongoing support for initiatives from the Steering Committee and related working groups, help keep stakeholders aware of project status and ensure effective communication channels are in place.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project team members, convey priorities, coordinate work and ensure issues are resolved or escalated to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met.
  • Recruit and orient volunteers ensuring effective performance of their duties.
  • Professional / Technical Capabilities :

  • Ability to lead, plan, implement and manage assigned projects.
  • Ability to synthesize and interpret complex concepts and data.
  • Working knowledge of applicable legislation and regulation as it relates to the applicable project.
  • Ability to operate related equipment including applicable software applications.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
  • Are you motivated to join us? We will be looking for you to have :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Science, Health Services Administration, Business Administration or relevant discipline
  • Three (3) or more years of recent, related experience in project management and facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
