Responsibilities :

  • The specialist would identify, track and oversee the bidding and award of school district annual contracts nationwide.
  • In addition to the bid and award process, this position would be responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the contracts as well as monitoring for compliance.
  • The specialist would need to interact with the outbound rep force, tech / bid and legal department to develop the solicitation packages.
  • Consistently monitor bid sites and register with individual agencies in order to receive future bid opportunities
  • Bid management work through Contract works and establish reporting to monitor progress
  • Establish price contracts on PCS to support awarded pricing
  • Contract Renewals Get approvals from legal and management
  • Getting Approvals and signatures from leadership
  • Preparing Bid Package
  • Communication and collaboration with Cross functional teams
  • Competencies and skills

    Qualifications :

  • Requires bachelor's degree in business or marketing or at least 2 years of K-12 education sales experience.
  • Knowledge and competence in the major elements of education contract bidding, business development, customer qualification, and customer acquisition.
  • Superior sales planning and business development skills.
  • Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and CRM Software.
  • Self motivated with superior problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Effectively prioritize sales efforts and activities.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills are essential.
