The Technology Services Group (TSG) is an internal function and is responsible for ensuring consistent technology infrastructure and a standard set of tools and applications across our Asset Management business.

Position Summary

The Senior Business Analyst will report directly to the Director, Technology Services. This position is responsible for providing appropriate business analysis activities to support all assigned project activities in cooperation with and under the direction of the TS Director as well as assigned Project Managers.

This role requires a results-oriented individual with a passion for collaboration, strong communication skills and attention to detail that drives business results.

A key capability for this role is an advanced understanding of Supplier Statement of Work and other contractual agreements.


  • Key Focal point for Supplier project change requests, including pricing, quality review, standards, approvals and delivery timelines as per existing agreements.
  • Contribute to the development of project definition and scope with applicable business and technology stakeholders; helping senior-level management make informed decisions about initiatives.
  • Support the PMO and Project Manager in identifying the financial, technical and human resources required to complete projects
  • Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
  • Leads user acceptance testing efforts
  • Updates documentation based on feedback collected from various stakeholders
  • Document and distribute meeting minutes
  • Work with other departments to push through requests needed for projects.
  • Contribute to the development of project risk mitigation plans and the maintenance of Risk, Actions, Issues and Decision documentation
  • Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
  • Accurate and timely reporting against project deliverables
  • Works with TSG and / or Business Unit personnel to identify required changes, communicates needed changes to technical team members
  • Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules
  • Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree / diploma required
  • 3-5 years’ experience performing business analysis duties
  • Experience working in a multi-Vendor environment.
  • Understanding of Technology Vendor Agreements
  • Knowledge of Technology Vendor Management
  • Excellent cross-organization / cross-function project management and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working with technical resources as well as business users
  • Proven experience in learning new technologies and tools at a rapid pace
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to work independently on multiple simultaneous initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong collaborative business and technology relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse and geographically dispersed group of project stakeholders, Service Groups, Business System Owners and subject matter experts
  • Proactively seeks opportunities to help the project team reach the end goals
  • Facilitates effective team interaction
  • Acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions
  • Identifies opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and / or non-system changes; assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and / or operational changes
  • Take input from Reporting Manager and appropriately and accurately applies comments / feedback
  • Strong work ethic, with proven ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders (ex. 3rd-party vendors)
