What is the Opportunity?
Supports overall quality engineering strategy
Accountable to provide subject matter expertise and leadership on test case architecture and design
Supports leadership in the execution of operational frameworks, processes and tools, and utilization of organizational change management practices to drive support and empower staff in assigned unit
Provides recommendations and contribute to solutions in area of expertise including leading QE workstreams
Supports the implementation of QE Program and overall QE process and standards through optimized test case architecture and automation in portfolio
What will you do?
Execution and Operational Excellence :
Responsible for developing and implementing program QE test architecture, ensuring right quality and testing coverage within the Portfolio / Platform / Ecosystem
Responsible for overall quality of functional and non-functional program deliverables / test activities
Projects and Initiatives :
Direct program teams to use new processes / tools, providing coaching and mentoring
Drives test automation approach as part of the program test strategy
Responsible to solve complex technical problems within and between various technology stacks
What do you need to succeed?
Must have :
Expert in leading test case design to provide efficient optimal coverage though unit test, component / service based tests and complex real life test scenarios
Experience in a variety of test automation frameworks / tools e.g., (unit test frameworks, SoapUI. Robot Framework, TestNG) and script development using scripting languages (e.
g., Perl, Python, Bash, etc.)
Experience using source configuration tools such as GIT, SVN, MKS, etc.
Experience working with various frameworks Agile or Iterative Waterfall Software Development Lifecycle
Minimum 5 years of experience in a QA / test environment with a focus on technical, automated testing in a variety of environments (cloud, distributed and mainframe, business workflows and services / APIs, databases)
Hands-on programming experience (e.g., Java, C, SQL DB querying)
Nice to have
Experience reviewing artefacts including code reviews (application and test automation scripts)
Experience as a developer
Experience with cloud solutions such as ElasticSearch and Kafka and frameworks such as Spring
