Our continued success in the Canadianmarket has generated the need for a Field ServiceTechnician (NOC 7311) in Canada. The incumbent isresponsible for installations, mechanical service and technicalsupport of centrifuge systems on customer site.
This FieldService Technician will receive in-depth training on thecentrifuge maintenance, operation andprocess.
Field service support by traveling tocustomer facilities to provide : field service, start-up, andtraining
Your Tasks :
Coordinate and / or perform commissioning ofGEA’s product line;
Perform routine maintenance procedures,emergency service as well as warranty work on GEA’s current andformer product lines;
Troubleshoot and repair Separatorsystems;
Assist otherdepartments in the development of new products and the improvementof existing products;
Initiate recommendations for improved tools,procedures, and devices for serviceoperations;
Submittime sheets, reports and other required paperwork on completion ofassignments;
Providetechnical training to users / customers;
Perform other duties asassigned.
Professional or Collegial Diploma(Mechanical Engineering Technology, Heavy Duty Mechanic,Millwright, or similar);
At least 2 years’ experience servicingmechanical manufacturing systems orequipment;
Ability toread mechanical / electrical schematics and totroubleshoot.
Demonstrate ability to coordinate teamwork;
Must havestrong communication skills;
Speaking French would be consider anasset;
May berequired to work on-call and extended hours which may includeweekends and holidays;
Must be able to travel across Canada,United-States and overseas;
