The Role :

  • Providing administrative support to the VP of Legal coordinating and tracking transitions, screening and uploading documents
  • Monitoring compliance and reporting for professional CPD standards
  • Drafting of offer letters and employment contracts
  • Preparation of periodic management reports and budgets
  • Reviewing expense reports prior to obtaining approval
  • Responsible for handling the calendar management for President of firm
  • Drafting correspondence on behalf of the team
  • Ordering office supplies as required
  • Developing and maintaining a filing system
  • Reviewing expense reports prior to obtaining approval
  • Responsible for handling the daily calendar, in-coming calls and daily prioritization
  • Ensuring all documentation and receipts are filed correctly
  • Writing and reviewing reports, correspondence and documents
  • The Ideal Candidate :

  • 5+ years of Administrative Assistant
  • Advanced MS Word skills with the ability to use format, edit and create templates
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to quickly enter data and use spreadsheets
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills
  • Highly professional with proven judgment and discretion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
