CBC Digital Products is looking for a Fullstack Developer to work with the Analytics and Search team.
This is an opportunity for a Developer who is eager to innovate, quick to learn and wants to expand their skills with hands-

Teams that are using metrics, running audience-facing experiments including A / B testing.

A Developer who wants to grow the way they think about their software design; learn from purposeful failure and work in a lean, Agile environment. A chance to :
Build the presentation of cbc.ca / search.
Work on an initial introduction of Recommendation Systems into the CBC.ca website.
Perform A / B tests at a monthly cadence.
Build a data ingestion abstraction layer.
Follow a Test-driven development (TDD) process.
Design and develop an automated regression testing framework for our web / mobile analytics platforms using Robot Framework and Selenium to ensure our analytics products behave as designed.
Maintain high-quality standards of automation testing, perform manual testing and contribute to the existing code based on insights gained.

The education : A Computer Science, Engineering degree or equivalent is preferred, but we know not everyone gains their programming skills this way.
You have the knowledge and understanding of software development and testing best - and latest - practices.
Familiarity with Robot Framework; Jasmine; Karma JS is a plus. Exposure to tracking tools such as Atlassian JIRA / Confluence is an asset.
The desire to learn. You can quickly learn new technologies and respond to change by learning and adapting.
