General Description of Position :

Midtown seeks a full-time, customer service oriented professional to deliver and maintain a positive and professional image of Midtown.

We are looking for an individual who is efficient, can multi-task, can work well under pressure, and is comfortable being a member of a team or working alone as required.

The ideal candidate for this position is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.

Job Description

Tasks & Responsibilities

Customer Relations / Communications

  • Respond to customers via parking station intercoms, phones, or in person
  • Assist customers with enquiries or concerns related to machine usage
  • Create and maintain monthly parking files, including selling new monthly parking
  • Administrative

  • Preform daily financial reconciliations for the automated parking equipment
  • Preform daily data collection on machine usage
  • Record and balance daily charge back validations for invoicing
  • Reconcile daily EFT transactions
  • Create and monitor specialty charge back validations for events for invoicing
  • Monitor the parking equipment
  • Troubleshoot parking equipment concerns and preform small repairs or technical assistance
  • Complete monthly audits of transponder inventory
  • Monitor supplies and report to Manager when more needed
  • Manage and balance petty cash fund
  • Preform the duties of the Parking Manager in their absence as directed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma with (preferred) post-secondary diploma / certificate in administration
  • 2+ years experience in customer service
  • 1+ years supervisory experience (preferred)
  • Excellent knowledge of good customer service practices and must display a high level of professionalism and positive attitude at all times
  • Strong communications (written & verbal), listening, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Good conflict resolutions skills
  • Proficiency with computers (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet), POS system, High volume telephone switchboards
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license
  • Must be able to provide clear criminal background check
  • Working Conditions

  • Fast paced office environment in downtown Saskatoon
  • Fast paced customer service via intercoms
  • Outdoor work as required, all weather conditions potentially
  • Breaks at station
  • Occasional varied shift times as required
