Health Standards Organization ( HSO ) and our Global Programs team is searching for a Technical Writer Architect, who shares our passion for achieving quality health services for all.

As a Technical Writer Architect, you will lead the implementation of the Technical Writing architecture for HSO Standards and Assessments documentation, with the support of a small team.

This role is key in leading the communication of project management activities, sharing knowledge and ensuring information is effectively conveyed to all stakeholders.

You will need to be skillful in collaboration, facilitation, negotiation, consultation and provide advice and guidance as required with teams, clients and stakeholders.

Let’s break it down. Your responsibilities include :

  • Determine the specific needs of end users of HSO technical documentation (Standards / Assessments).
  • Making your mark! Design and model new templates, tools, guidelines, etc. including Standards and Assessment Manuals (ensuring simplicity of use, format, layout, iconography, etc.).
  • Put in place the development of guiding principles and related documentation.
  • Conduct an extensive review of external market product samples while applying HSO guiding principles.
  • Lead the design and implementation of the next generation of HSO Standards - guidebook for HSO staff and technical committees.
  • Design and deliver training to build capacity of HSO writers to implement the next generation of HSO Standards and Assessment Manuals.
  • Building authentic and enduring relationships with staff. Engaging others comes naturally to you, and you’re an experienced and skilled people manager.
  • You have a unique history. Does it include the education and experience listed below?

  • Seven to ten (7 -10) years of progressive and varied relevant technical writing experience - leveraging advanced technologies, presentation tools, and methodologies.
  • University Degree in a related specialized field or; equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated advanced critical thinking, data gathering and analysis judgment, and project management skills.
  • Technical Skills : Microsoft 365, MS Project.
  • Dynamics GP, CRM.

  • Have a masters’ degree in a related specialized field.
