BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a dynamic, results driven individual to join as a Power Electronics Engineering Site Leader.
Power Electronics Engineering Site Leader
Reporting to the Power Electronics Competency Leader, the Power Electronics Engineering Site Leader will be responsible for providing leadership and management oversight to a local team of power electronics development lab engineers / supervisors and technicians.
Will be responsible for an engineering budget with site facilities and CapEx responsibility. Will assist in the multi-competency engineering execution of projects / programs and will support the local leaders from the other Power Electronics competency areas.
Will drive local project teams, be responsible for project execution and mentor power electronics engineers. Heavily involved in recruitment process for local power electronics engineer hiring.
Will spend 15% of role developing his / her team / people.
As a member of the leadership team at BorgWarner, the Power Electronics Site Leader will drive and own the site culture while helping to steer the organization forward in areas of processes, methodologies, tools and architectures.
Will help bring innovative products to market, while preserving customer delivery efficiency and precision.
