Join a fast growing leader in North American cross-border trade in the customs brokerage and logistics industry. Willson International, a 100 year old business, is looking for a dynamic member for its Logistics Team.

As an Logistics Solutions Specialist , you will join our team of experienced and dedicated professionals. Reporting to the VP & GM, Logistics, the successful candidate will be responsible for engaging and building strong day to day / week to week operational relationships with current and past clients to enhance client partnerships and optimize revenue opportunities.

Please note this is currently a Work From Home position.

Logistics Solutions Specialist Remote

Shift : Monday to Friday 8 : 30am - 04 : 30pm

The position is responsible for engaging and building strong day to day / week to week operational relationships with current and past clients to enhance client partnerships and optimize revenue opportunities.

Here are some of the activities you will be expected to perform :

Develop and maintain strong operational relationships with our client base

Strive to become our client’s first point of contact

Learn our client’s needs and shipping patterns to enable stronger daily / weekly outreach and offerings

Close shipping opportunities on the first call, from opportunity learning to quoting preparation of the movement

Achieve or exceed individual, team and company goals

Work closely with VP Logistics to identify opportunities, help cross hurdles, and strategize

All other duties as assigned

These are the standards we look for :

Ocean / Air Logistics experience a must

High School Diploma is required. College Diploma in Business Administration and or equivalent is preferred.

Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products in particular Word, Excel, database skills, Internet searching skills.

Self-disciplined with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Able to work independently and or part of a team.

Strong communication skills verbal and written is required

Problem solving, accuracy, attention to detail and analytical ability is required

Fast paced work that requires the candidate to work with Urgency and Purpose
