SEA Position in Duncan, BC

Looking for a Special Education Assistant (SEA) to work with two learners in Gr. 5 and 7 with special education needs. The positions commence April 25, 2022.

The SEA will help students in their classroom-based program on Tuesdays from 9-2pm and on Thursdays from 9 : 15-2 : 45 and will work as part of a team.

Support from the teacher, therapists, parents, and the Special Education Coordinator will be provided. The children have a range of learning needs.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Experience and / or SEA certification is an asset but those with a strong interest, related experience or training and a willingness to learn will also be considered.

Christian individuals who have an empathetic nature, experience working with school-aged children, some special needs background, and a willingness to be flexible.
