Our client, located in Burnaby is looking for a Warehouse Administrator for a contract opening. As the Warehouse Administrator, you are responsible for general warehouse duties, including but not limited to, fulfilling customer orders by selecting the material or products to complete orders, inspecting and packaging orders.
Operate manual material handling equipment such as hand jacks and wheeled carts safely.
Operate forklift within tight spaces safely.
Preparation of shipmentsAccurately put away items in storage locations.
Picking of orders using barcode scanners.
Manage housekeeping activities as required.Comply with all work and safety regulations and report any infractions to the Branch Manager.
Provide assistance to sales and technical teams as required ie : customer calls and stock inquiries.Work with the team to continuously improve the efficiency of day to day warehouse operating processes
Communicate monthly report summarizing ongoing key activities
Perform other duties as assigned.
Secondary School Diploma
License to operate forklift truck with minimum two years’ experience.Working knowledge in use of barcode scanners.
Ability to read, write and perform simple arithmetic.
Working knowledge of computers, including Excel.
Repetitive lifting may be required.
Ability to communicate positively & effectively.
