About the position :

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Account Manager Pulp & Paper, Water Treatment & Mining is responsible for selling Univar Solutions’ portfolio of products across multiple industries throughout northern Alberta.

  • Where you’ll work : Edmonton, AB, 2 days per week in office and remaining 3 days travelling in the field.

    What you’ll do :

  • Main customer focus is pulp & paper, mining & water treatment.
  • Employ a consultative sales approach that focuses on building long term, value-based relationships with accounts.
  • Prospect for new business; conduct sales calls and actively grow the size of the assigned territory in accordance with the company’s targets.
  • Maintain a clear updated view of the sales pipeline.
  • Liaise with internal teams including purchasing and operations to ensure proper inventory levels and overall customer satisfaction.
  • What you’ll need :

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Science or Business).
  • 2 or more years of experience in a sales role preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint as well as CRM platforms such as Salesforce.com , Tableau and SAP preferred.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License & clean driver’s abstract required.
