Based in Ontario (Kitchener, Toronto or Ottawa), the Intermediate Environmental Planner will be fully integrated into our Canadian Planning Practice, providing support for the delivery of environmental assessment and permitting for public and private sector infrastructure and development projects.

Our existing portfolio of projects cover a wide variety of sectors including : transportation, water / wastewater, waterfront redevelopment / revitalization, energy, healthcare and more.

Here's What You'll Need :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in planning, Environmental Science, Geography, Biology / Ecology or a related field
  • Technical writing experience and familiarity with Environmental Assessment and permitting for infrastructure projects in Ontario.
  • Ability to collaborate with the team and contribute to the preparation of environmental assessments for a diverse range of projects
  • Experience working with a diverse range of government and industrial sectors such as transportation, water, oil and gas, mining, and energy is an asset
  • Time management skills, with the ability to simultaneously work on multiple tasks / projects and meet project deadline
  • Ideally, You’ll Also Have :

  • Master’s degree in planning, Environmental Science, Geography, Biology / Ecology or a related field
  • Positive attitude and self-motivated, with strong consideration for safety
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team-oriented, and suited to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
