Allied Properties is currently seeking a talented individual to join the Leasing Team in Calgary. This person will report to the Vice President, Leasing, Central & Western Canada.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated and detail-oriented. The candidate must be organized and have proven capabilities in multi-

  • tasking, problem solving and prioritizing workloads. RESPONSIBILITIES · Based out of Calgary the Manager, Leasing will oversee day to day leasing for new deals and renewals in Calgary, Vancouver and Edmonton;
  • Complete full cycle process for all new leases and renewals; · Have deals reviewed and approved by Vice President, Leasing;
  • Manage vacancies including, but not limited to, ensuring space is ready for showing, marketing materials are ready and appropriate, showing space and following up on inquiries and deals;
  • Manage and build relationships with Brokers; · Report on leasing activities, tenant updates and market conditions; · Take care of all due diligence activities for all deals (insurance, security deposits, financial credit checks, etc.
  • Participate in annual budgeting process and complete leasing assumptions for your assigned territory; · Other duties as required.

    Scope of accountability will be determined based on size, complexity and location of deals. Scope will change in conjunction with the growth and development of the portfolio on an ongoing basis QUALIFICATIONS · Minimum of 3-

  • 5 years leasing experience or equivalent working experience in a related field; · Ability to plan and execute leasing campaigns;
  • Experience negotiating and drafting offers, LOI’s, leases, etc.; · Strong communication and people skills, including a proven ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization;
  • Responsiveness and an ability to anticipate client needs and commit to respond in agreed timeframes; · Demonstrates resilience, passion and commitment to deliver and be accountable for the results;
  • Experience in accounting, budgeting and buildings systems; · Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • An assertive self-starter with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision; · Strong organization and time management skills, detail oriented with exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities;
  • Must be fluent in English; · Negotiating skills; · Knowledge of the basics of obligations and contracts; · Knowledge of business;
